Load Weighing Units
Load weighing units are designed to signal when the lift car is fully loaded or overloaded. This is measured in one of three ways:-
- By measuring the tension increase on the traction ropes supporting the car.
- By measuring the deformation of the elevator crosshead.
- By measuring the descent of the car's floor on the rubber buffers when the car is loaded.

LLEC6R Load Weighing Unit New LLEC5 version
The LLEC6R system measures the tension increase of traction ropes on which the sensor is fixed. The maximum overload (weight of lift car + structure + maximum load) is 5000kg. It is designed to be fitted on top of the lift car.

LLEC6FRM Load Weighing Unit New LLEC5 version
The LLEC6FRM system measures the deformation of the elevator crosshead. The sensor/electronic unit is fitted on the crosshead of the lift adjacent to the rope anchorage.
