Testers and Detectors
PEW offer a comprehensive range of test equipment ranging from simple battery testers and voltage indicators to more complex multimeters, clamp meters and multi-function testers.
-
T13A Mains Socket Tester
Designed for testing 13A sockets, this unit will detect the following electrical faults.
-
Tester for Battery, Bulb, Fuse And Continuity
multi-purpose tester for dry cell 1.5V batteries, 9V batteries, household and automotive fuses, bayonet lamps and push/screw type torch lamps. The unit is powered by a 9V PP3/MN1604 battery which is included.
-
Electronic Metal And Voltage Detector
Detects electricity cables, metal pipes and metal studs. The LED on the detector will stay lit together with a continuous audible sound when metal is detected. When electricity is detected, the LED will flash with an intermittent sound.
-
Powertracer Pen
The Powertracer pen detects voltage from 100 to 600V AC and will also detect breaks in cables. The pen tip glows red when voltage is detected.

Compact Manual Ranging Multimeter
Features a 2000 count LCD display, with full protection on all ranges and a safety category to CAT111 600V. Functions include battery and diode test.
-
True RMS Auto Ranging Multimeter
This top of the range multimeter features a 6000 count high visability back lit LCD display and offers accuracy, safety and reliability. The DL9309 has True RMS voltage and current readings with max/min and peak hold function, making this the ideal multimeter for lift and electrical engineers.
-
Mini AC Clamp Meter
A compact clamp meter for use where access to cables is a problem. It fits neatly in the hand and with a clamp opening of 18mm, it is ideal for those instances where it is hard to reach cables. However, its small size dose not compromise on range or accuracy.
-
Mini AC/DC Clamp Meter
A compact clamp meter for use where access to cables is a problem. It fits neatly in the hand and with a clamp opening of 18mm, it is ideal for those instances where it is hard to reach cables.
-
1000 Amp AC/DC True RMS Digital Clamp Meter
This top of the range model provides True RMS reading on AC current and AC voltages enabling accurate measurement regardless of the wave form, making it the ideal instrument for use where non-linear loads are present.
-
Engineer's Safety Link-Out Kit
Supplied in a durable rollover engineer's pouch, the safety link-out kit enables the engineer to utilise a "safety short" during general lift repair and maintenance and is designed in such a way as to ensure that it can only be used as a temporary measure.
-
Digital Hand Held Light Meter
With much greater emphasis now being placed on levels of illuminance (LUX) in lift cars and lift shafts, particularly in emergency lighting conditions, this hand held light meter will prove to be invaluable in assessing as to whether the appropriate LUX levels have been attained.
