Incandescent Lamps

Incandescent lamps are the most familiar type of lamp and they are used in numerous applications. By the nature of their operation they have a relatively short lamp life, but are inexpensive and therefore often used when the initial set up cost is important.

In line with the EUP (Energy Using Products) Directive 2009, retailers have agreed to stop selling GLS lamps over 61W, with other inefficient lamps to be phased out in 2011. All products marked * are due to be phased out, with alternative references shown where appropriate.
