Phase Sequence And Failure Relay

This relay monitors phase reversal, phase failure and voltage reduction. The output relay is normally energised when phases are correct. The relay will release when the phase sequence is wrong or a phase is lost, assuming that the re-injected voltage through the machine is not higher than 60% of normal voltage. The relay is delayed on break to avoid very short interruptions or other momentary failure. When used with auxiliary supply from one phase and neutral, the neutral is monitored.
