Defence Standard Multicore Screened Tacho Cable

Application

Multicore screened tacho cable is designed for high density wiring between components and within instruments and electronic equipment. It is also extensively used in process control systems, computers, data processors and data control. It is also used in situations where electro-magnetic interference is a problem.

Construction

Tinned copper strand conductor with a PVC insulation and a black PVC sheath.

The screen consists of a TCWB (Tinned Copper Wire Braid).

Technical Data

Voltage: 440V (up to 1.6kHz).

Temperature Range: -5 to + 70°C.

Conductor Resistance: 79 ohms/km.
