DDA Lift Car Tip Up Seat

Compliant to EN81-70, the PEW car tip up seat is suitable for all lift car installations. The seat has a bevelled finish and is constructed from American oak, although other finishes are available to order.

It is designed to support a static load of 120kg (264lbs) by virtue of a zinc coated, heavy duty steel seat support and hinging mechanism.

EN81-70 Regulations

Installing a lift car tip up seat is not always mandatory, but when required, it has to be installed in compliance with EN81-70 regulations as detailed below.

  • Seat height from floor 500±20mm.
  • Depth from lift car wall 300 - 400mm.
  • Width of seat 400 - 500mm.
  • Max static load: 100kg (220Ibs).
