Postion Display Handwinding Unit Replaces HWU2

Housed in a mild steel enclosure, this unit displays the floor designation via a back lit display, indicating whether or not the lift is at floor level, just above floor, or in between two designated floors. When in between floors, the direction indicators show the last floor passed, enabling the operator to ascertain the two floors between which the lift is located. This unit also includes an audible and visual indicator, activated when the lift is at floor level. The unit also flashes and buzzes intermittently when the lift is approaching the floor level. A three hour maintained battery back-up is provided, enabling continuity of operation in the event of mains failure. The detection unit has an output of 12V DC and can be operated using mechanical or magnetic proximity switches. The unit is factory set to the floor levels G, 1, 2, 3, 4 etc, but can be easily re-programmed on site by the engineer using a 99 floor level library.
