Key Code Access Landing Unit

This self-contained unit operates in a similar manner to the KCA1, but is primarily designed to restrict access to the lift car itself rather than to individual floors. It consists of a brushed stainless steel keypad with a rear-mounted single relay programmable circuit board. This can be mounted either next to the hall station, or used instead of it. When the appropriate 4 digit code is entered, the relay closes for a pre-set period of time, enabling the user to gain access to the lift car and thence use the lift in a normal manner. The unit is ideally suited to environments where, for example, domestic dwellings are situated above a shopping arcade.
