Nylon Slings

Manufactured to BS EN1492-1:2000, nylon slings offer a safe, lightweight alternative to chain or rope, providing superior weight to capacity ratios along with durable construction. Nylon slings are uniquely colour coded according to their weight bearing capacity. The safe working load of a sling is rated for a load at one end (straight configuration), however this is doubled when the sling is used as a ‘loop’ support (‘U’ configuration). So a 2 tonne sling will be rated at 4 tonne when supporting a load in the ‘U’ configuration, between the loop eyes.
