Did you know that 40 % of the overall power consumption of a lift car is consumed when it is at standstill, and that 30% of this is consumed by the lift car lights alone?
To combat this, we are proud to introduce the Henning Light Watcher (Power Save) Kit, which enables the lift car lights to be switched off when not required.
It is installed directly onto the car roof, where it senses car movements/vibrations via its three acceleration sensors. These sensors even recognize movements of the car door!
The lift car lights are switched on each time a movement in the car is sensed, however, following a pre-set (adjustable) time period, during which no further car or door movements are sensed, the lights are automatically switched off again!
For ease of installation on the car roof, the kit is supplied complete with a rigid polycarbonate enclosure, a choice of cable glands and an integral DIN rail mounting facility.
In addition to the lift car lighting, the Henning Light Watcher ( Power Save) Kit can switch off an additional energy consuming source and also, by virtue of a third contact, switch on a third device while in low power mode, like an emergency light, for example.
